Vulvatorious

Vulvatorious weave together a variety of metal threads in their bleak, aggressive and sludgy music, dying the sonic fabric all black – you’ll find crust-punk, thrash and black metal in there. In 2024 they played at Copenhell and Roskilde Festival and released their self-titled album. In 2025 they continued their mission at Copenhell’s Hades stage and will now set Rock & Rul on fire.

Song titles such as “CUNT WAR” and “WITCH BURNS BACK” – written in capital letters – Vulvatorious fights misogyny and abuse and incite rebellion in a way you won’t misunderstand. Its bloody, painful and intense – also when Ditte Krøyer growls and hisses over sorrow, loss and longing, which shines through the cracks in songslike “Mormors sang” (Grandma’s Song) and “Farvel. Jeg går”.
