They say that AI will soon replace artists. And will he paint – like Hostia's frontman – the cover with his own blood?!
After three years spent sowing chaos on concert stages, Hostia is back with studio material. The successor to "Nailed" is an album entitled "Razorblade Psalm", the title of which reveals everything that the music brings - the band delivers razor-sharp deathgrind blows with almost religious fervor. The new Hostia sounds as if the band were tearing their veins apart in the studio and... there's something to it.
The graphic design of "Razorblade Psalm" was of course taken care of by the band's frontman Łukasz "Pachu" Pach, whose artistic talent you know from, among others, the graphic design of Mystic Festival, as well as works for Iggy Pop, Megadeth, Whitechapel and Behemoth. Pachu drew the cover illustration of Hostia's new album with his own blood.
- In the times of AI and digitalization, I wanted to give our cover even more of a live factor. It was, in a way, a confrontation with my Achilles heel, which is blood. I faint at the thought of drawing blood, so please appreciate my bloodshed. Literally! - says the vocalist.
